In an industry first, we have launched the first colour consultation space dedicated to a home hair colour brand, in Boots Covent Garden. And the crowds loved it!
The experiential Consultation Station sits on the first floor of The New Boots, offering expert advice and product education to help our customers navigate the colour system and find their true shade match. A colour consultant is on hand for personal guidance, alongside oversized swatch guides, and a ‘tool kit table’ built into the unit.
“From listening to our customers, we know home hair colour users can often feel lost and ignored”, says Josh. “By creating this new retail space we’re pulling home hair colour out of the dark ages – and giving it the same energy, attitude and attention to detail as a luxe beauty brand. We want to give everyone access to their best colour and let them know we are here to help!”.
The station is divided into Colour / Conceal / Care as well as separated into ‘lighter hair” and “darker hair” sides, to make colour selection simple, easily shoppable and an experience to enjoy. On screen advice from Josh, showing his top tips, the products as worn by the Josh Wood Colour community, and product recommendations bring added colour and dynamics.
