First, be sure to read the instructions carefully and do a patch test 48 hours before applying the colour. You can find detailed instructions on how to do a patch test here: Patch Test Instructions.

Next, brush and section your hair evenly. It’s crucial to create even sections that match the thickness of your hair. A good tip is to check that the colour from the previous section is visible when you start a new one.

Start applying the colour at your roots, focusing on areas with resistant greys. Gently place and pat the colour onto your roots—avoid rubbing it in to ensure that all regrowth is covered evenly.

For stubborn greys, apply the colour generously to your roots.

If you’re just doing a root touch-up, you can just pull the colour down to your lengths and ends during the last 10 minutes to refresh the entire look and achieve a gorgeous result.
